- Inspired by the Hymenocallis (desert lily) flower and Islamic architecture.
- Y-shaped floor plan for stability and optimal views.
- Cladding: Over 26,000 glass panels with aluminum and stainless steel.

- Built by Samsung C&T, Besix, and Arabtec (2004–2010).
- Used 330,000 cubic meters of concrete and 39,000 tons of steel.
